Scott grew up in Louisiana and graduated from Catholic High School. He continued his education at Wake Forest and Louisiana State University with a degree in Computer Science. At a young age, Scott had a growing interest in video games. At first, Scott was just a gamer but with age he began upgrading the game’s hardware.
“I still remember my first computer back in ’83. It had two floppy disk drives. You could get updated graphics cards with 16 different colors. That made gaming a bit more exciting.”
With his passion for gaming driving him, Scott’s career in the field of technology took off while he was at LSU. He worked with LSU Telecommunications to discover hackers and what they were doing and worked to reverse the effects. After school, Scott began work as a Systems Analyst for Diamond Data Systems and continued as a Network Architect for R & D Networking through their change to Cohesive as well as Exodus Communications. Afterwards, in 2003, he began work with Integrate where the system he built and managed received a 2002 IT Merit award from Environmental Business Journal. Soon after, he joined Innovative Emergency Management creating security consulting services. Finally Scott joined Ascendant Technology Partners as Vice President of Infrastructure and remained in his position as Ascendant merged into Transformyx.
Scott is looking forward to the future of technology as it continues to grow and change.
“At some point, there will be an implantable human machine interface and the ability to add to human memory. The question, however, becomes not can we, but should we.”
With high hopes for Transformyx, Scott sees that the company will continue to grow to service more people and make them happy with their technology and the service we provide.
