Transformyx Welcomes New Technology Architect

New Technology Architect
Chris Favalora has been hired as a Technology Architect focusing on Networking, Storage and Virtualization practices. Based in the New Orleans area, Favalora will provide technical Pre and Post sales expertise to Transformyx customers throughout the Lower Gulf Coast region.
For almost two decades, Favalora has focused on developing and managing network infrastructures and applications using the Cisco and Microsoft deployment methodology. Prior to joining Transformyx, he worked for Peoples Health Network as the Telecommunications Manager overseeing all deployments, operations and upgrades of their telecommunications department. He also worked for AT&T Business Field Services as a Professional-Technical Consulting Engineer. In that position, he designed and deployed a variety of complex Cisco architectures, including local and wide area networks.
He had previously held a series of positions in network management and software instruction.
Currently he is an Adjunct Professor at Tulane University for the School of Continuing Studies teaching classes in advanced routing and switching. Favalora completed a Bachelor degree at Louisiana State University and earned a list of technology certificates, including Adtran Certified Voice Installer, Shoretel Certified Installer, and a variety of Microsoft, Cisco and VMware certifications.
