Company History
CEO and Chairman, Claude W. Bethea, founded the company in 1987. Then named Rockhopper Systems, the company gained success throughout the South as a leader in custom software integration and networking. In 1997, with the wide-spread commercialization of the World Wide Web, Mr. Bethea recognized the impact that the Web would have on business computing and marketing.
This began an evolution that has positioned Transformyx to be a national leader in communications, content, commerce management as well as online marketing, educational solutions and internal business applications. More recently, Transformyx has added Managed IT Services, Cloud Computing Services, Network Security services and VoIP Telephony solutions to it's core offering allowing the company to service the entire life cycle of the client.
In 2010, Transformyx completed a Merger with Ascendant Technology Partners, a MSP and Systems Integrator serving customers throughout the Southeast which has added Managed IT Services, Cloud Computing, Network Security and VoIP Telephony solutions to its core offering allowing the company to service the entire life cycle of the client.
Today, Transformyx has grown to serve over one thousand clients throughout the United States including Fortune 500 organizations as well as the small to medium size enterprise. Transformyx continues on with the same passion for innovation and change that has provided over two decades of successful growth. |

Claude Bethea – President
The original founder of Transformyx, Inc. His strength is his ability to make technology easy to understand. The combination of 20 years of systems design and deep marketing expertise has allowed him to service SME and Fortune 500 companies throughout the United States and abroad. Bethea started programming computers professionally by age 14 and attended Louisiana State University from 1984-1989 College of Business Administration - Quantitative Business Analysis.
Jim DuBos – Chief Technology Officer
An Information Technology professional of over 22 years. He has founded 7 technology companies in the areas of Services, Telecommunications, E-Learning, and Systems Monitoring as well as the first commercial Internet Service provider in the State of Louisiana. His expertise includes technology management, systems architecture and strategic planning. In 2000 Jim was appointed by Gov. Murphy “Mike” Foster to serve as the First CIO for the State of Louisiana.
Charles Rougeau – Vice President - VoIP & Network Engineering
Over 16 years of technology consulting experience working with some of the world’s largest organizations. His experience includes business critical applications specializing in Unified Communications and Network Engineering. He is customer focused and understands the value of a partnership between a trusted consultant and customer.
Scott Hoppe – Vice President - Security & Virtualization
Extremely proficient with network infrastructures and the operational and security aspects of information technology systems for over 19 years, and has been CISSP certified for 10 years. His focus is enterprise Security, Networking, and IT Operations, but his specialty is seeing the big picture, and then reducing complex problems to simple choices. |
